What can I expect during the training? What is included in the price of your training?

All of our In-class Training classes are divided into two portions. The first portion of the class is called the “Theory” portion where our trainer will cover all aspects of lash application techniques, various styles, product options, client consultation, medical consultation, eye anatomy, and marketing and walk you step by step through the real-world client experience. Each student is provided with a detailed training manual that will walk them through the theory portion of the class and allow them to take notes and perform several practice assignments. Each student keeps their training manual and is encouraged to reference this guide as they continue to practice after completing the class.

The second portion of the class is the “Hands-on” portion. In this portion, each student will be required to bring a model (look in the “Do I need to bring a model” section of the FAQ) who will be with you for the second part of the day. During the hands-on portion, all students will be provided with a supply kit to use in class that will include everything needed to start working on your model’s eyelashes. Our trainer will help each student with one-on-one attention and consult each individually throughout the entire process.

Does Pearl Lash offer any payment plans?

We understand that sometimes coming up with a full payment upfront might be challenging for most of us. For those reasons, we have implemented several convenient options for our students.


ZIP (formerly QuadPay) is a convenient payment plan system that breaks your payment into 4 equal smaller payments over 6 weeks. The best part – it is interest-free and does not require a credit check! It takes 20 seconds to qualify at checkout! All you need is a valid credit or debit card issued in the USA!

PayPal Pay-in-4 is another convenient option for students unable to qualify for ZIP Finance! PayPal has recently introduced its pay-in-4 option that, just like ZIP, is interest-free and allows their customers to finance their purchases over 6 weeks. PayPal also offers a 6-month credit option.



Another option Pearl Lash offers is our in-house deposit option (not available for Online Training). Each student may register with just a $200 deposit to secure a seat to any of our classroom training events. The balance of the class will not be due until 7 days before your particular training date.

Am I eligible to work in Wisconsin after completing your training?

The state of Wisconsin does not impose additional licensing or prerequisites for Eyelash Extension Artists. Upon finishing any Pearl Lash training course, students can begin their professional careers. This includes the option to work from home, a salon suite, or a lash studio.

Is the starter kit included for the eyelash extension classes?

Classroom Training: The key fact that distinguishes Pearl Lash from most other training schools is our approach to product selection. While we are a fully stocking eyelash supply warehouse located right here in the state of Florida, most of our Training courses do not require any product purchases*. All supplies used for the hands-on practice portion of our classes are provided free of charge. We do not include the take-home Starter Kit in most of our Classic Eyelash Extension and Volume Eyelash Extension classes in order to make the classes more affordable and give each student the freedom to decide if they choose to proceed with our Starter Kit or proceed with any other brand. Our trainers will gladly take their time to explain the benefits of each brand upon your request and advise each student on the proper product selection.

Online Training: All supplies are included with your Online Training registration.

What if I still don’t feel confident after completing 1 or 2 full days of training?

One of the key features that Pearl Lash offers is Free Refresher Training. When we say free, we truly mean free.

Every graduating student has an option to retake the class they already completed. There is no limit to how many times this option can be exercised.

To register for the Free refresher, a student must email our customer support team ([email protected]preferably 4 – 6 weeks in advance of an upcoming class (you may monitor the class schedule online and find a most convenient venue) with their request. Our team will review your request and respond within hours to confirm the spot. Please note that even though we try to accommodate every single request, refresher seats are limited to 2 for each event and are filled on a first-come first-serve basis. To be sure and get a spot in the specific venue and date of your choosing, please reserve the spot as far in advance as possible.

If a spot at your desired location and time will not be available, our team member will provide you with several alternative dates for your choosing.

Do I need to bring a model?

You are strongly encouraged to bring a model with you to the hands-on portion of the training.

Please note that models will not be allowed to sit in during the theory portion of the class.

If you are unable to bring a model please let us know in advance and we will help you find one.

If you are interested in being a model for one of Pearl Lash training events, please visit our Models page to sign up for the waitlist. We do not recommend using a mannequin head during the training, we prefer each student to receive an actual true-life experience during the class. Performing an eyelash extension set on a mannequin has a significantly different feel than working on a real person.

My friend and I are both coming to training. Can we be the model for each other?

As fun as it would be to practice on each other, it would not be possible. Our hands-on portion of the class is conducted as a group which means all students will be working on their models simultaneously throughout the second part of the class.  Students will not have an opportunity to swap places during the class.

What is the difference between Online and Classroom Training?

The main difference between Online and Classroom training is the live model hands-on experience. 

The theory portion of the training curriculum for our Classic Online and Classroom training is identical. The Certification level upon completing either course is identical. 

The hands-on portion of the Online class would consist of a series of detailed step by step presentations including full setup, gel patch application, isolation, application, and removal process. Our Master Trainer will provide ample time for each student to clarify any details before proceeding to the next presentation. Upon completion of the Online training, our students begin practicing to replicate each of the steps they learned on their own time while having a direct phone line access to our Master Trainer for follow-up questions and to review photos of their work.

In-classroom hands-on portion, a student receives 4 hours of live hands-on model training under the supervision of the Master Trainer.

The Lifetime Membership a student receives upon completing their training is identical for both Online and Classroom training.


Do I receive a certificate upon completion?

Classroom  – each student will receive a Certificate of Completion for each class they complete. The Certificate will be provided before you leave the training site.

Online – each student will receive a Certification of Completion for each class they complete. The Certificate will be either mailed (please allow 3-5 days for delivery) or digitally issued via Merit App. Please choose the type of Certification you would prefer at checkout.


Please be advised that the Certificate Pearl Lash Extensions provides is not a state license. The following states do not require a state license and allow individuals to practice eyelash extension application with just a Certificate: Alabama, Arizona, Delaware, Indiana, Maryland, Missouri, and Wisconsin.

Is there a minimum age requirement to enroll in Eyelash Extension Training?

The minimum requirement to attend Pearl Lash training is 16. Students between ages 16 and 18 will be required to have a written and notarized permission letter from their parent or guardian stating that he/she authorizes the student to attend the training.

Are we able to purchase products at the training event?

Classroom – Yes, our training event staff will have many Starter Kits and other accessories available for sale at the training venue. Your student discount will be applied to all purchases made during the event. All major credit cards, Apple Pay, and cash are accepted at the training.

Online – Upon registration, all students receive their lifetime membership, which includes discounts and free shipping on all products available on our website. Those products could be purchased either before or after completing the training.

After completion of their training class, each student will be provided with instructions on how to obtain their student discount as well as free shipping on all products with no minimum order when purchasing on our website’s shop page!

Pearl Lash offers a full line of premium eyelash extensions and accessories that each student will get to try during the training. Your trainer will explain the benefits of various products and accessories during the training and it will be up to each student if they choose to start their career with the Pearl Lash Premium line of products or choose one of our competitors.

Do you offer classes in Spanish? ¿Ofreces clases de español?

At Pearl Lash, our professional training extends worldwide with many students from Mexico, Central, and South America coming to the US to receive Pearl Lash Certification. According to the rules of the Department of Regulations and the Board of Cosmetology, all classes are conducted in English. However, to serve our Spanish-speaking students, Pearl Lash has professionally translated Spanish Training Materials and documentation and even provides an ability for Spanish-speaking students to complete the Certification test in Spanish. This option is great for students who have difficulties understanding the English language and gives them a chance to receive all their information in Spanish. Please request “Spanish Documentation” during registration checkout and your instructor will have them ready for your class.

En Pearl Lash, nuestra capacitación profesional se extiende a todo el mundo con muchos estudiantes de México, América Central y América del Sur que vienen a los Estados Unidos para recibir la certificación Pearl Lash. De acuerdo con las reglas del departamento de regulaciones y la junta de cosmetología, todas las clases se imparten en inglés. Sin embargo, para atender a nuestros estudiantes que hablan español, Pearl Lash ha traducido profesionalmente los Materiales de Capacitación en Español, Documentación e incluso ofrece una capacidad para que los estudiantes que hablan español completen el examen de Certificación en español. Esta opción es excelente para los estudiantes que tienen dificultades para entender el idioma inglés y les da la oportunidad de recibir toda su información en español. Will you help advertise my business after my Certification?

The Pearl Lash Network of Professional Lash Artists was launched in 2018 to help our self-employed lash artists advertise their businesses free of charge. Anyone who is looking for a Certified lash artist in their geographical area can search by zip code.

To be added to the network, a student must have the following:

A valid state license (if a license is required in your state or country).
Physical place of work (a physical address is required to be found by zip code) including a phone number, email, and website (optional).

A link to the network application can be found here as is available to all students after completing their Certification class. Please note that potential clients will be contacting you directly, Pearl Lash will solely serve the role of a listing middleman.


What happens if I need to cancel or reschedule after I registered?

At Pearl Lash, we always strive to provide our students with unmatched training experience. This process requires advance planning and monetary investment. Consequently, our below-mentioned refund policy on event registration fees or booking fees has been put in place. This policy is strictly enforced to make sure we can continue to provide each of our students with the best possible training experience.


Training Transfer Requests – In the event, that a student would like to transfer their scheduled training class to any future date, he/she has up until 14 days before the class to request this transfer, it is complimentary. A student may request a transfer 14 days or less before the scheduled event, it will be granted, however, an administrative fee of $100.00 will apply. A student has up to 12 months from their originally scheduled training date to attend their rescheduled training.

Training Cancellation Requests – In the event, a student would like to cancel their scheduled training class and receive a full refund, he/she may do so up until 30 days before the class. If a student requests to cancel their training event between 30 and 15 days before a registrant’s scheduled event date, it will be granted, however, an administrative fee of $100.00 will be deducted. No refunds will be issued for cancellation requests issued 14 days or less before the scheduled event date.



Training Transfer Requests – there are no restrictions or transfer fees involved. If a student is unable to attend their scheduled Live Online Training session, they will be transferred to the next one available. Please contact our customer support to complete your transfer.

Training Cancellation Requests – A registrant may cancel their event registration no later than 30 days before the scheduled event date as long as the Training supplies/materials have not yet been dispatched to the shipping address provided during the registration. No refunds will be issued for cancellation requests within the 30-day window before the Online Event start time. No refunds will be issued once the Training supplies or materials are dispatched to the shipping address provided during the registration.


All transfers or cancellations must be done in writing, via email to our customer support team ([email protected]). Please include your full name, contact information, the city you are registered for, and the date of the class. If requesting a transfer, please indicate the venue and the date you would like your registration to be changed to (or leave it open for up to 12 months).

I do not live in the US, can I still attend and get certified?

Absolutely! In fact, Pearl Lash has certified students currently living in over a dozen different countries including Bahamas, Barbados, Jamaica, BVI, Canada, Poland, Mexico, Brazil, India, Russia and many more. Pearl Lash Certification is valid anywhere in the world and is an invaluable business card for any successful lash artist. We do highly recommend that you inquire about licensing requirements in your home country to make sure an additional government license is not required. From our experience, none of the countries in the Caribbean require any additional licensing and only some of the countries in South America and Europe require a separate license.

Is there a dress code for the training?

Even though we do not require a special dress code, we do ask that everyone is dressed courteously. Please do not wear cut jeans or t-shirts, short/mini skirts, stained clothes or clothes with inappropriate graphics or messages. The training rooms are always kept to a cool 70 degrees in order to provide ideal temperature for the adhesive, therefore, we highly encourage you to bring an extra layer of clothing in case you are prone to get cold. If you have long hair, please make sure to bring a scrunchy or something to hold your hair back while working.
